Welcome, Academic Fellows!

The Center for Black, Brown, and Queer Studies is excited to announce the recipients of our annual 2026-27 academic fellowship! 

This year we welcomed a staggering 1000 applications from prospective academic fellows across the world. Supported by the Mellon Foundation, and under the guidance of cohort advisors, the academic fellowship offers a group of diverse scholars working across various disciplines the opportunity to connect and collaborate in a supportive environment. 

From our undergraduate to our postdoctoral cohorts, BBQ+ is happy to welcome twenty-one scholars to take part in our year-long virtual intensive fellowship.
